Venus de' Medici model in plaster

Chalk model of the Venus de' Medici, Greek Hellenistic statue dating from the end of the first century BC and now preserved in the Tribune of the Uffizi Gallery. Venus, with her face turned to the left in a dynamic movement, has a noble profile framed by beautiful hair gathered in the back of her neck. This model belongs to the historical collection of the Florentine Gallery enriched by six generations of members of the Romanelli family.
