Luigi Caccia Dominioni

The furniture and objects of the Milanese architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni (1913-2016) can be recognised by their simple elegance and pure geometric shapes. When he founded the Azucena series furniture brand with the architect Ignazio Gardella and Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua in 1947 (acquired by B&B Italia in 2018), Caccia Dominioni already had experience as an interior designer. Since its foundation, Azucena has established itself as the reference point of a modern classicism that focuses on furniture and lamps with clean and essential lines, combined with a manufacturing of the highest quality. For the brand, Caccia Dominioni designs, in its very long life, hundreds of objects, many of which are still in production: great classics with timeless charm as the armchair Catilina of 1957 with iron frame, wooden seat and rubber cushion.
