Item description
Imposing high antique Louis XIV wardrobe of the second half of the 17th century with a clear Genoese cabinet-making taste. The wardrobe is made of fine solid walnut wood of great patina. The doors and sides are panelled with a frame. On the front two beautiful capitals with finely carved acanthus leaves. Of great importance is the presence of the original interior fillings made with frontal frame and side guides to allow the need to extract the plane as if it were a drawer. This is not by chance because very often at the time these cabinets were used as large pantry. All the internal parts are original nails of the hardware era, partially replaced. Restored in a conservative way by the old owners and preserved with care. The wardrobe is practically perfect and ready to be placed in a new residence.
