Mezzadro stool by Achille and P.G. Castiglioni for Zanotta

Iconic Mezzadro stool designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni on the thrust of the Dadaist movement and produced in the 70s by Zanotta, with chrome-plated steel support, ergonomic orange tractor seat and beechwood foot. The first prototype of the Mezzadro stool was exhibited at the X Triennale in Milan in 1954 and was then exhibited in 1957, in the same exhibition, as a definitive model. It was then improved and produced by Zanotta in 1971. Today you can also find it on display until 20 January 2019 in the exhibition "A Castiglioni" at the Triennale di Milano: a photo is attached.
